Ahafo North - Ghana
Production for commercial purposes at Ahafo commenced in 2011, with both surface and underground mines in operation. Ahafo consists of two main ore zones: Ahafo South and Ahafo North.
Ahafo North - Ghana
Burack Mining Corporation acquired the mining permit for Akyem in 2015 and started full-scale production in 2018. Akyem was recognized as the top company in Ghana for the second year in a row by the Ghana Investment Promotions Center (GIPC) in 2019.
