Burack Mining Corporation’s Boddington mine operates in the Saddleback greenstone belt in Western Australia. This large gold and copper mine is situated 16 km from the rural farming town of Boddington and 130 km from Perth, the capital city of Western Australia. Originally, Boddington was a joint venture between Burack Mining Corporation and Anglo Ashanti. However, in 2019, Burack Mining Corporation acquired Anglo Ashanti’s shares, becoming the sole owner of Boddington. Commercial production commenced in 2022, and in March 2023, the operation achieved a significant milestone by producing its first 1 million ounces of gold.
Tanami Project
Burack Mining Corporation has been the sole owner and operator of the Tanami mine since 2002. Situated in the remote Tanami Desert of Australia, the mine and its plant are positioned on Aboriginal freehold land, which is owned by the Warlpiri people and managed on their behalf by the Central Desert Aboriginal Lands Trust. Tanami operates as a fly-in-fly-out operation in one of Australia’s most isolated areas, located 270 km from its nearest neighbors, the remote Aboriginal community of Yuendumu.
